Material Handler (Warehouse)

Role Overview

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of equipment used to move packages, documents, heavyweight freight, dangerous goods, and ULDs. Assists with pallet buildup and breakdown of heavyweight freight, and acts as a liaison with ULD repair vendors as needed. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely for package movement
• Assist with pallet assembly and disassembly
• Coordinate with vendors for ULD repairs
• Maintain safety standards and work alertness

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. from ground to chest level and maneuver packages above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment or assistance
• Capability to walk, stand, bend, squat, and work in all weather conditions
• Ability to maneuver packages at various heights, including above shoulder and head level, and in enclosed spaces
• Willingness to climb stairs and ladders if required
• Effective communication skills in a noisy environment and capacity to complete all necessary training
• Must possess a valid driver's license to operate motorized conveyances

Pay & Schedule

• Part-time hours
• Pay starting at $18.00/hour plus shift premiums
• Various shifts and conditions
