Material Handler Utility Retail

Job Duties

• Working with a computer system to run production equipment
• Reloading case makers
• Vacuuming the machine
• Performing sanitation cleaning/checks in your area
• Distinguish problems with the machine and fixing, within your ability
• Helping Operator perform changeover tasks
• Stacking finished goods
• Providing general assistance when needed
• Performing all other duties assigned by the Supervisor and Management

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Good math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
• Stable work history
• Forklift/Motorized Pallet Jack certification or ability to become certified
• Favorable work reference and background check
• Ability to work without constant supervision
• Ability to frequently lift up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to lift and carry bundles of cartons weighing approximately 25 lbs. a distance of 4-12 feet and lift to a height of 3-5 feet
• Ability to lift and carry rolls of film weighing 30-75 lbs. a distance of 4-12 feet and lift to a height of 4 feet
