About The Role

General Laborers support production operations by separating, handling, and staging parts throughout the manufacturing process. This role ensures parts are properly processed, packaged, and moved to downstream operations while maintaining quality, safety, and accurate job tracking.

  • Separate (“pick”) laser-cut parts and stage materials according to job requirements.
  • Pack, palletize, move, and organize materials to support production flow and downstream operations.
  • Handle raw materials, finished parts, and scrap safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure proper part identification, staging, labeling, traceability, and ERP job tracking.
  • Safely operate forklifts, material handling equipment, hand tools, and packaging equipment.
  • Perform basic equipment checks and report maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Support additional production processes such as flattening, finishing, shearing, tumbling, or pallet building as needed.
  • Identify and report defects, damage, safety concerns, or process improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and participate in continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • One to three years of manufacturing, production, or material handling experience is preferred.
  • Experience operating forklifts, cranes, or production equipment is preferred (as applicable to role).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems or production tracking systems is a plus.
