Material Handler - Part Time

About the role

This position involves the safe and efficient operation of equipment for moving packages, documents, heavyweight freight, dangerous goods, and ULDs. It includes assisting with pallet buildup and breakdown, and acting as a liaison with ULD repair vendors as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to handle packages safely and efficiently
• Assist in pallet buildup/breakdown for heavyweight freight
• Coordinate with ULD repair vendors
• Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and maneuver packages of any weight with equipment or assistance
• Capable of walking, standing, bending, squatting, and working in all weather conditions
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders if required
• Effective communication in noisy environments
• Successfully complete all training requirements
• Valid driver's license required for motorized conveyance operation

Pay

Compensation ranges from $18.98 to $24.73 per hour.

This non-safety sensitive role requires alertness and adherence to safety protocols. A drug screen is mandatory.
