Material Handler Inventory Support Associate

Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Stuart, FL. This position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career path that prioritizes safety and employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Aid in maintaining facility Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to consistently meet or exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation, and maintenance.
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules.
• Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and updating load statuses.
• Work closely with Operations Supervisor to distribute the workload evenly through WMS management.
• Collaborate with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve issues with daily orders.
• Interact with customers to communicate order changes and updates.
• Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years warehouse experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Working knowledge of WMS systems.
• Forklift experience.
• Equipment certification may be required, depending on location.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to meet Ryder's driving qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must have a personal vehicle and be able to travel within the area approximately 25-50% of the day.
• Strong technical aptitude including using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, scanners, and entering orders into a WMS system.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Able to work both indoors and outside.

Skills

• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Working knowledge of WMS systems.
• Forklift experience.

Pay

Hourly Pay: $18.23 per hour.
