Material Handler III - PACS

About the role

We are looking for a Material Handler III to join our Electrification & Automation (EA) Business Unit in Wendell, NC. This role involves the efficient movement of materials, including receiving, shipping, storage, picking, delivery, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate stand-up reach trucks, order pickers, and sit-down forklifts in high-traffic areas and narrow aisles.
• Inspect moving equipment daily and adhere to all safety rules, keeping safety a priority.
• Unload, receive, and record production materials in the SAP system while verifying and counting inventory.
• Pick, pack, and ship materials accurately and damage-free using RF scanners and small hand tools.
• Perform daily cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy within the storeroom.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail while meeting deadlines.
• Follow established processes, seek improvements, and complete other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with material management (warehousing).
• 5+ years of experience driving a forklift, order picker, and stand-up.
• 2+ years of experience with packing and crating.
• 3+ years of experience with cranes.
• Must be able to lift parts or sub-assemblies that weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with SAP system.
• Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• Proficient with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook (preferred).
• Technical training in area of responsibility (preferred).

Pay

Hourly rate: $22.46

Schedule

Shift hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm
