Responsibilities
- Transport items using forklifts and other appropriate equipment
- Utilize safety techniques and follow all safety requirements
- Store items neatly and in their proper place
- Retrieve items per instructions and deliver them to the appropriate place
- Ensure items are not damaged during transport or storage
- Label items accurately as directed
- Inventory items accurately as directed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience handling materials, preferably in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to drive a forklift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to lift heavier items occasionally
- Ability to operate transportation devices and equipment
- Ability to work in extreme cold and hot temperatures
- Ability to lift, push, pull, walk, stand and squat
- Candidates must qualify as a U.S. Person Authorization
