Responsibilities

• Checks material for defects before packaging and weighs finished products.
• Collects finished product and pre-packages it at a wrap/banding/bagging station.
• Loads packaged material onto pallets, skids, and boxes, securing them for transport.
• Pulls and stages materials as needed to meet production demands.
• Places sleeves on vacuumed rolls and applies proper labeling.
• Operates related production equipment safely.
• Records quality and output measures, and completes necessary paperwork.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment through general housekeeping duties.
• Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED equivalency is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to obtain certification for operation of powered lift trucks and operate safely.
• Successful completion of on-the-job training programs.
• Completion of all required health and environmental safety training.
• Reads and writes in standard English and performs basic math calculations.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or as a general laborer is preferred.
• Effective team member with good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow simple verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Requires standing more than 2/3 of the time and lifting between 60-80 lbs.
