Material Handler III
Mohawk Industries is seeking a Material Handler III to join our team. This position is part of a manufacturing environment and requires meeting certain physical requirements such as climbing steps, carrying heavy materials, operating a lift truck, and more.
What We Need
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Successful completion of all required on the job training
- Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training
- No prior experience required
- Operate in a team-based environment
- Minor computer skills
- Ability to become certified on all types of lift equipment (fork, pole order picker)
- Ability to operate on-board RF equipment and have a basic understanding of the AS-400 system
- Must be able to lift 50 - 80 lbs. numerous times throughout shift
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, push, pull and reach for long periods of time
- Must be willing and able to work any shift or number of hours deemed necessary by management
What You’ll Do
- Operate a lift truck
- Perform as a Checker – verifying the product pulled against the Pull Sheet
- Perform data entry into AS400 – order quantities, changes, palletizing, etc.
- Responsible for overseeing lower-level Material Handlers, checking their work, informing them of errors, damaged product, proper procedures, etc.
- May interact with customers and handle customers pick up orders
- Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervisor
- Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
- Perform other tasks assigned by management

Pay
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
