MATERIAL HANDLER II - 2nd shift (Sunnyvale, Texas, United States, 75182)

About the role

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking an intermediate-level Material Handler to join our team. As a material handler, we need someone experienced in stocking, checking, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials.

Responsibilities

Primary Objective: Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to the packing station or the shipping area.

• Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays (tools, caulk, etc.), moving, storing, and replenishing materials, and conducting daily cycle counts.
• Performs receiving duties such as receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments, stocking material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Operates forklift equipment.
• Maintains a clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance, etc.
• Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to Management.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator.
• 1 or more years of previous distribution/warehouse experience.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months of previous stand-up forklift, sit down forklift and order picker equipment experience.
• No experience required for pallet jack.

Pay

Pay Rate: Entry Rate: $20.78, 3 months Progression Increase: $21.90, Plus a shift differential of $0.50

Shift: 2nd shift Monday - Friday, 4:30PM - 1:00AM
