Responsibilities
- Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and convey orders to packing station or shipping area.
- Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays (tools, caulk, etc.), moving, storing, and replenishing material, and conducting daily cycle counts.
- Performs receiving duties such as receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments, stocking material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
- Operates forklift and order picker equipment.
- Maintains the clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom, and general office maintenance.
- Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to Management.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent experience.
- 1-year Sit-Down Forklift Operator experience required.
- 1-year previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good record-keeping and listening skills.
- Accurate measurement capability.
- Ability to understand and speak basic English.
- Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner.
Work Environment
- Regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
- Required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- May be required to sit, climb, or balance.
- The average number of picks per hour is 25, with the average weight between 40-70 lbs. Heavier picks (50-70 lbs) make up 65% of the work shift, and lighter items (20-40 lbs) make up 35%.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
- May be exposed to a wide range of temperatures.

Pay
Entry Rate: $18.54 per hour with a 3-month increase to $19.66 per hour.
Schedule
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 4:30 PM - 1:00 AM
