Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Material Handler II to join our team on the 2nd shift.

Schedule

Core hours: 3:30 pm – 11:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Pay

Hourly rate: $20.00 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential. Eligible for a variable incentive program.

Responsibilities

  • Move materials within the facility with focus on safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity.
  • Handle material for Low Voltage Assemblies; flex across all warehouse and logistics areas as needed.
  • Comply with environment, health, and safety guidelines; sustain 5S+ in area.
  • Operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve goods, supplies, and materials in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Perform regular maintenance checks on forklifts.
  • Use radio or other communication tools to coordinate with team members and prioritize tasks.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures, comply with WSRA’s, and wear proper PPE; report any safety issues immediately.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and method sheets.
  • Verify accuracy of deliveries and inspect materials for damage.
  • Perform inventory transactions through MRP system; pick accurately and timely.
  • Perform cycle count transactions as required.
  • Safely transport, load, and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and shelves.
  • Dispose of scrap material (excluding metals).
  • Use appropriate lift assist or partner lift when moving material/products; may lift and carry up to 40 lbs and push or pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Flex to other areas or perform tasks of other positions as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience operating a PIT (Powered Industrial Truck).

Eaton will not consider applicants requiring immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered; active-duty military service members are exempt from the geographical limitation. No relocation benefit is offered.
