Material Handler II - 2nd Shift

About the role

GXO Logistics is seeking a Material Handler II to join our 2nd shift team, Monday through Friday from 01:30pm to 10:00pm. This position plays a crucial role in providing sophisticated supply chain solutions for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Support operations by moving materials and inventory throughout the facility
• Construct packaging boxes
• Pick merchandise and verify orders
• Label products and utilize a handheld scanner

Requirements

• 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment
• To be legally authorized to be employed in the United States
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems
• Availability to work a flexible schedule with possible overtime as needed, which may include days, evenings, nights and/or weekends

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience as a material handler

Skills

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Sit, walk or stand for long periods of time
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
• Handle or manage tools or equipment
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
