Material Handler I
About the role
In this role, you will provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers by maintaining strong attention to detail and completing assigned tasks in a timely manner. You will interact professionally with shipping companies, purchasing teams, customer service and/or branch management. Direct non-standard issues and customer inquiries to senior warehouse personnel for appropriate resolution. Follows all Linde safety procedures and promote a safe work environment by encouraging others to do the same.
Responsibilities
- Safely operates forklift or other equipment to load, unload, sort, stage and transport products
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes and placing orders in designated delivery area
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment by ensuring product is stored properly and areas remain free of debris
Requirements
- A High School Degree or GED
- Minimum of three (3) years of warehouse experience is preferred
- Experience in the gas industry is a plus
- Prior forklift experience is preferred
