About the role

The Material Handler/Forklift Operator position is responsible for operating a forklift to help load and unload trailers, haul finished goods and raw materials, and pull internal shopping lists when necessary. This position works in a clean, consistent and safety conscious environment. The role is designated as safety‑sensitive and product security sensitive, meaning the associate’s inability to perform job‑related tasks could pose a direct threat to safety and the position involves influence over outbound shipments to guard against unmanifested cargo such as illegal drugs, explosives, weapons and people.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a fast‑paced warehousing environment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, get on and off the forklift consistently & safely, bend, reach, grab and twist.
  • Accurately complete required documentation.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting on equipment and processes as needed.
  • Follow PPE & GMP guidelines to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Attend dock meetings for team & company communications.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, grab and twist.
  • Physical examination and pre‑employment drug screen will be required upon conditional job offer.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Troubleshooting & problem‑solving skills.
  • Previous material handling experience preferred.

Pay

Starting rate: $23.00 per hour, includes a $2.00 per hour shift premium. Opportunity to make up to $27.65 per hour through additional training.

Rotating 3rd Shift; 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule 5:00PM - 5:00AM SUN MON TUES WED THURS FRI SAT WEEK 1 X X X X WEEK 2 X X X
