Material Handler/ Forklift Operator - 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift truck and packaging equipment including hoists
• Read and understand work orders and assignments from computerized instructions
• Perform and understand basic math to control quantities and weights of product
• Lift 50-60 pound containers occasionally
• Report to the Supervisor any faulty equipment or other safety hazards
• Perform routine post and pre-inspections to ensure safe work conditions
• Perform general clean-up tasks to keep work area clean and free of excess debris
• Work overtime as needed

Requirements

• At least one-year experience operating a forklift
• Frequent walking, bending, twisting, and lifting
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Attention to detail and ability to check your own work for accuracy
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to understand basic English (fluent English speaking not required)
