Essential Functions
- Makes sure machines in assigned department are stocked with all parts needed to run.
- Ensures all parts are put away after a run to prevent part mixing.
- Scales tubs, except when machine is set up for quantity, and moves sheet to next job.
- Scans returned washers to machine and puts them in PROD when delivered.
- Adjusts returned washer quantities and puts them away in racks.
- Organizes WIP and finds lost bins as needed.
- Works closely with new drivers in the department, guiding them to the production floor.
- Completes pre-shift check sheet and reports any defects immediately.
- Fulfills safety standards: wears proper PPE, steel toe boots, uses seat belt, stops at intersections.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participates in group meetings, reviews results and targets.
- Maintains 6S standards in work area.
- Checks water levels on Raymonds daily.
- Understands OSP loading/unloading, shipping/receiving, and customer portals/invoice processes.
- Supports machine operators under pressure.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- 5 years of shipping experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Good communication skills, including ability to interact with employees at all levels, customers, and drivers.
- Experience with MS Office and SAP.
- Ability to solve problems and handle pressure/stress.
- Forklift and Raymond licenses, issued after successful training.
- Able to work any shift.
- Knowledgeable about computer transactions and work instructions.
- Proficient in SAP functions relevant to the job.
