Responsibilities

• Operates powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries, moving them to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks into trucks or storage facilities
• Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift
• Loads and unloads product; efficiently and safely stacks/stores product
• Moves product from staging or storage areas to designated areas in the facility
• Ensures accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments
• Maintains appropriate records/reports to guarantee accuracy and inventory
• Assists with physical inventory
• Complies with all OSHA and MSDS standards
• Performs daily equipment checks and maintains maintenance log
• Executes assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner
• Maintains a clean and safe environment
• Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good math, language, and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required
• High degree of attention to prevent injury to others and promote a safe work environment
• Experience with RF scanner gun
• Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license may be required
• Forklift certification per OSHA standards
