Responsibilities
- Operates powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries, moving them to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks into trucks or storage facilities
- Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift
- Loads and unloads product; efficiently and safely stacks/stores product
- Moves product from staging or storage areas to designated areas in the facility
- Ensures accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments
- Maintains appropriate records/reports to guarantee accuracy and inventory
- Assists with physical inventory
- Complies with all OSHA and MSDS standards
- Performs daily equipment checks and maintains maintenance log
- Executes assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner
- Maintains a clean and safe environment
- Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good math, language, and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required
- High degree of attention to prevent injury to others and promote a safe work environment
- Experience with RF scanner gun
- Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license may be required
- Forklift certification per OSHA standards
