Responsibilities

  • Stock all production machines with required materials to maintain continuous, uninterrupted manufacturing operations throughout each shift.
  • Manage the safe and efficient movement of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Maintain a well-organized warehouse that supports accurate inventory tracking, fast material retrieval, and a safe working environment.
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming raw materials, verifying quantities and condition against purchase orders, work order documentation, and SOPs.
  • Stage and replenish raw materials at production areas, coordinating with machine operators to proactively prevent supply shortages.
  • Operate automatic or semiautomatic production equipment as needed, monitoring meters, gauges, valves, temperatures, and pressures to meet production and process specifications.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, engineering drawings, and other written and verbal specifications to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Support set-up, calibration, and basic troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies as assigned to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies promptly to ensure accurate stock levels and support planning activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum Qualifications: Experience in warehouse operations, material handling, or a manufacturing production environment. High school diploma or equivalent required. Demonstrated ability to safely operate manual and powered material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks). Proven ability to follow written instructions including SOPs, work orders, blueprints, and safety guidelines. Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to accurately receive, record, and track inventory. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. consistently throughout the shift.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with a warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP platform. Forklift certification or equivalent powered industrial truck license. Background in a regulated manufacturing environment such as food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or industrial. Familiarity with lean manufacturing or 5S workplace organization principles. Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings or layout plans.

Pay

The compensation range for this role is $20 - $22 USD per hour.

Schedule

This position will be located in Belleville, Illinois. In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Stock all production machines with required materials to maintain continuous, uninterrupted manufacturing operations throughout each shift.
  • Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks safely and efficiently, adhering to established receiving and shipping schedules.
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse to support accurate inventory tracking, fast material retrieval, and a safe working environment.
