Material Handler

About the role

Holman is a family-owned, global automotive services organization. We serve various markets including fleet management and leasing, vehicle fabrication and upfitting, component manufacturing, powertrain distribution, commercial and personal insurance, and retail automotive sales. The Material Handler/ Warehouse Worker position at Holman Upfitting in Bartlett, IL offers a starting pay of $22/hr based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Pull and stage parts for upfitting production and handle requisitions for shortages
• Check in and relocate delivered vehicles as needed
• Package and ship inventory or purchased items using proper procedures
• Operate forklifts and scissor lifts in a safe and responsible manner
• Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory of parts and materials (controlled & non-controlled)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Support other warehouse functions as needed

Requirements

• Basic computer skills
• Experience in a warehouse or materials-handling environment is a plus
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
• Familiarity with UPS/FedEx shipping systems is a plus
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities

Qualifications

• Must pass a drug test and criminal background check prior to employment
