Material Handler
Position Overview
As a Material Handler, you’re a member of an assigned production crew, reporting to the Plant Warehouse Supervisor. You will contribute to the success of Ball by observing operating principles of all assigned equipment and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices and policies including but not limited to food safety; personal protective equipment; emergency procedures, etc.
- Operate forklift and coordinate products including raw materials, scrap, finished goods, packaging materials, chemicals, and other supplies.
- Effectively communicate with vendors, delivery drivers, and customers.
- Inspect aluminium for proper quality standards and customer specifications.
- Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.
Required Experience & Skills
- A High School Diploma or education equivalent.
- One year of work experience in an industrial environment.
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Three or more years of operation and maintenance of forklift.
- Working knowledge of proper hazardous waste management.
- Experience using JD Edwards, AS900, or similar warehouse or ERP system.
Physical Environment & Working Conditions
- Hot/Cold working conditions.
- Loud /Noisy environment.
- Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.
- Climbing (stairs, catwalks, and other equipment as necessary).
Compensation & Benefits
Expected Hourly Rate: $27.37
This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.

Onsite Work Environment
This position is based in [add the location here] and requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site. Travel and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.
Hybrid On-Site Work Environment
Based in Colorado, this position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for { DIRECTOR & ABOVE: four (4) or more days } { BELOW DIRECTOR three (3) or more work days} per work week (with core collaboration days of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
