Material Handler

Job Responsibilities

• Guide, advise and train less experienced powered industrial truck operators.
• Drive propane powered industrial trucks equipped with various lifting devices.
• Cookordination movement of plant products and materials.
• Aid in determining proper placement of products.
• Load and unload materials in the warehouse and onto/off of pallets, skids or lifting devices.
• Move materials throughout the warehouse or into trucks.
• Record inventory by accurately scanning products into the computerized barcode system.
• Identify and solve problems with raw materials, finished goods and other warehouse areas.
• Maintain accuracy of orders.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in the facility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications And Requirements

• A high school diploma is required.
• One to two years of powered industrial truck and logistics/warehousing experience is required.
• A high level of detail and audit-minded mentality is required.
• The ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment is required.
