3M is seeking candidates for a Material Handler position on the 3rd shift (D shift Weekend Night, Friday-Sunday 7pm-7am) in Rockland, MA.

Starting at $21.17/hour.

About the Role
The Material Handler will serve the 3M manufacturing area in the Shipping, Receiving, and Warehouse department. This role operates in a team-based environment and involves rotational tasks across all area functions. The position offers an opportunity to collaborate with global teams and transition from other private, public, government, or military experience to a 3M career.
Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial vehicles such as fork trucks
- Move material using pallet jacks
- Receive incoming goods
- Ship outgoing product
- Comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards
- Contribute to a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and engaging in continuous improvement
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
Qualifications
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed in this role include:
- Minimum one (1) year of plant and/or manufacturing experience in a public, private, government, or military environment
- Powered Industrial Vehicle license
- Post-high school education
- Basic computer knowledge
Schedule
This position is for the 3rd shift (D shift Weekend Night, Friday-Sunday 7pm-7am). Note: If selected for an overnight, evening, or weekend shift, you may initially be placed on a different shift for training purposes.
The plant operates 24/7, offering multiple shifts including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, 8-hour shifts, and 12-hour shifts.
