Material Handler - 2nd shift

Role Responsibilities

• Work and drive safely, observing all EHS rules
• Knowledge of and ability to process paperwork such as route sheets, picklists, etc.
• Able to read, understand and utilize route sheets, picklists and blueprints
• Able to operate an RF Scanner to locate parts
• Able to organize parts by job order per the work instructions
• Self-starter with ability to work independently
• Material Handling and Transportation of Product
• Perform other tasks as directed
• Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required
• Active involvement in DPS through continuous improvement and kaizen events
• Must be able to work scheduled overtime hours
• Assist other departments as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school degree, GED, or equivalent experience required
• Ability to operate a forklifts of various makes and models
• Strong communications skills for interdepartmental efficiency
• Previous experience with managing multiple tasks with a shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a forklift
• Previous experience with RF reader or other ERP systems
