Material Handler - 2nd Shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM)

About the Role

This is a 12-month contract position on W2, requiring US Citizens or Green Card holders only. The role is entry-level and operates on a 1st or 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM) schedule with 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Bring kitted material to machines for the next job.
• Verify part numbers and quantities against packing lists.
• Deliver material to the machine area as requested.
• Ensure the correct lot is delivered to each machine, with extra attention to job numbers.
• Work overtime as required and assist in other areas or responsibilities as needed.
• Work independently with general supervision on routine tasks.
• Support team goals and objectives in a team setting.
• Make effective decisions relative to production requirements.
• Follow GMP procedures and perform area safety inspections to identify hazards.
• Report and respond to safety hazards, spills, accidents, or near misses while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Comply with all state, federal, and company regulations, including FDA, ISO, and OSHA standards.
• Assume responsibility for environmental effects of work and record environmental problems.
• Follow the site Environmental Management System and complete all regulatory training (e.g., GMP, ISO14001, OSHA).
• Be available for other projects or assignments as requested by management.
• Identify opportunities to simplify or improve services, systems, and processes.

Requirements

• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to safely operate a pallet jack (electric pallet jack is a plus).
• Must be able to pay continuous attention to detailed operations.
• High School Diploma/GED or 4 months of material handler experience.

Pay

$16–20 per hour.
