Material Handler 2/3

About the role

Loads, unloads, and conveys materials within or near plant, yard, or work site, and performs a combination of tasks under specific direction which may include shipping and/or receiving.

Responsibilities

• Opens containers using hand tools; counts and weighs materials and records information
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines by hand
• Loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand
• Conveys materials using wheelbarrow, hand truck, forklift, electric dolly, elevator, or other devices; stacks or assembles materials; aids machine operators by lifting heavy objects by hand or by use of power hoist
• Performs transactions in material management system to reflect movements of material

Qualifications

• Level 2: High school diploma with at least 3 years of relevant warehouse or production scheduling experience
• Level 3: High school diploma with at least 5 years of relevant warehouse or production scheduling experience
• Able to lift or move 35 lbs unassisted
• Proficient using SAP or similar MMAS systems
• Proficient with office suite
• Able to perform a two-person lift in accordance with MIL-STD-1472
• Must be a team player with strong communication skills
• Must be able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Must be able to work extended hours occasionally to meet deadlines
• US citizenship is required

Pay

• Level 2 salary range: $41,300.00 – $68,900.00
• Level 3 salary range: $49,100.00 – $81,800.00
• Eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonus in addition to base pay
