About the role

Responsible for palletizing finished goods and ensuring the pallets are wrapped in a manner that maintains stability and neatness. This role involves loading, unloading, and maintaining material to assigned machine units, operating various equipment (including 227, Alphaliner, and Ferag), and meeting quality, output, and production goals.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare finished products according to established USPS standards.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in recognizing printed address labels on finished products.
  • Ensure finished goods are properly palletized and instruct Logistics Tech to move product to finish location.
  • Verify correct material for production line, and load/unload materials into the machine.
  • Perform basic machine setup, adjust machine components, and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Respond to indicator lights and display screens to mitigate issues.
  • Clear jams and address errors on end-of-line machine components.
  • Support and comply with safety, security, and housekeeping policies.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and maintaining evidence of key duties.
  • Train and support new and existing team members.
  • Assist with work prioritization to meet production commitments and goals.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and participate in Team Business Meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
  • 0-1 year of related experience.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to assess obstacles and make minor non-mechanical adjustments safely.
  • Knowledge of operating a pallet jack.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate well with others.

  • Carry up to 15 lbs., push/pull up to 40 lbs., twist, stand, walk, reach, and grip/grasp throughout the shift.
  • Frequently lift up to 15 lbs., squat, and kneel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (varying upon equipment).

Pay

Starting rate: $15.31 per hour. The D Shift (Sat-Mon, 5AM-5PM) includes a differential of $3.00 per hour. Total compensation may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay.

Schedule

  • 10-hour A Shift: Tues-Fri, 6AM-4PM.
  • 12-hour D Shift: Sat-Mon, 5AM-5PM.

Ability to work overtime beyond regular schedule to complete work assignments as required.
