Material Coordinator - Tribeca Oven

Inventory Management

The Material Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular inventory counts, and ensuring that all inventory processes and procedures are followed.

• Conduct regular and accurate physical inventory counts (daily cycle counts).
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies and report findings to management.
• Update inventory records in the system accurately and promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments.
• Generate and distribute inventory reports as required.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing inventory for accuracy and quality.
• Ensure proper labeling and storage of inventory items.
• Identify and report any damaged or expired inventory.
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory status and issues.
• Utilize a forklift to move product to and from locations.
• Transfer finished product to designated location in facility/warehouse.
• Flexibility to work overtime and non-standard hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Education/Certifications and Experience: High school diploma or GED. One year of related experience preferred. Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a similar role, preferred. Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
• Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities: Strong organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions And Physical Effort

• Work involves daily and frequent exposure to unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, fumes, odors, darkness and/or poor lighting, noise, and vibration.
• Seasonal exposure to weather elements to include, but not limited to, extreme temperatures, wetness, and humidity.
• Work environment involves daily exposure to physical risks and hazards, such as working around mechanical equipment, mechanical hazards, forklifts, chemical hazards, electrical hazards, fire and explosives hazards, communicable diseases.
• Position requires the ability to stand; walking around office, warehouse, and plant; lifting and carrying packages up to 50 pounds; utilizing fine dexterity; and reaching, kneeling, crawling, and twisting on a daily basis.
