About the role
The Material Control Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the receipt and storage of all incoming materials
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments for material transfers
- Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records
- Respond to inquiries from employees regarding material usage and availability
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (position may require occasional travel)
Qualifications
- Experience with material handling and storage systems
- Familiarity with quality control procedures
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
