Material Control Coordinator

About the role

Epic Piping has an exciting opportunity for a Material Control Coordinator to be an integral part of our Material Control team. You’ll work on a wide range of projects on a national and global scale.

Responsibilities

• Confirm accuracy of material information on spool drawings
• Input material line items into JDE system
• Release spools to production when all material line items are available
• Issue Work orders when required
• Address material shorts daily
• Check/update weight and surface area fields on spool sheets
• Maintain filing system
• Assist with material reconciliations at job closeouts
• Requisition material shorts as needed
• Update statuses in JDE as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-3 years of experience in the pipe fabrication field (preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and JD Edwards
• Knowledge of piping materials (visual and descriptions)
