About the role

The Master Scheduler will create, integrate, and manage production schedules to ensure manufacturing capacity meets current customer demand. This role involves partnering with Program Management and Operations to integrate multiple program requirements into a cohesive schedule, resource-loaded with labor and equipment to meet demand at the lowest cost. The Master Scheduler will also advise manufacturing on prioritization to support changing demand.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Program Management and Operations to develop an integrated site schedule.
• Develop and maintain a process to manage capacity planning.
• Manage the site sales and operations planning process.
• Provide capacity analysis in support of proposals.
• Support trade studies and analysis.
• Work required overtime as needed.

Requirements

• A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in planning/scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced MS Office skills, including MS Project.
• Previous ERP System management experience highly preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced production environment with high-quality requirements (e.g., military, aerospace, or medical equipment).
• Experience in a high-mix product development environment or demonstrated ability to support a similar environment.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Proven track record of supporting stringent deadlines and handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Skilled problem-solver with the ability to exercise judgment based on experience and precedents.
• Lean Manufacturing experience is an advantage.
• Composite manufacturing experience is an advantage.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
