About the program

Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) serves adults 18 years of age and older. ACTT provides intensive community-based treatment, support, and rehabilitation to individuals who have a serious persistent mental illness (SPMI) or a dual diagnosis of SPMI and a Substance Use Disorder and are determined as requiring a high level of service needs.

Program Outline

• Gain firsthand experience and training related to clinical mental health & substance abuse evaluation and treatment
• Working on independent living skills
• Outreach treatment services
• Medication evaluation and monitoring

Qualifications

• Education: Must be enrolled in a Master’s degree program in mental health field.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience in mental health treatment preferred but not required.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Valid driver’s license
