About the role
The (USA) Master Plumber, Facility Services, is responsible for maintaining and repairing plumbing systems to ensure facility safety, functionality, and compliance with all applicable codes. This role leads complex plumbing projects, provides technical expertise, and mentors maintenance staff.
What you'll do
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures to ensure safety and functionality.
- Inspect, diagnose, and resolve complex plumbing issues using blueprints, manuals, and code requirements.
- Lead and mentor Journeyman and Apprentice Plumbers, providing technical guidance and training on plumbing techniques and safety protocols.
- Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, parts procurement, and contractor coordination to support facility operations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local plumbing codes, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls and participate in on-call rotations.
What you'll bring
- Proven expertise in performing preventive maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with local, state, and national codes.
- Ability to diagnose complex plumbing issues using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
- Experience leading and mentoring Journeyman and Apprentice Plumbers, providing technical guidance and training.
- Strong skills in managing work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractor coordination with accurate documentation.
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, maintaining safety and quality standards in all plumbing operations.
- Capability to respond promptly to emergency calls and perform pressure tests to identify leaks.
- Proficiency in ordering parts, tracking inventory, and submitting warranty claims.

Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years’ experience in the plumbing trade (Master-level experience preferred).
- Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
- Licensed Master Plumber or equivalent in good standing in the state of work.
- Licence in related trade in city and/or state of work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical trade program.
- Experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience.
