Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, facilities, and equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Inspect, diagnose, and resolve complex plumbing issues using blueprints, manuals, and specialized tools.
- Design and plan large-scale plumbing repairs or modifications in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
- Lead and mentor plumbing and maintenance staff, providing technical guidance and training on best practices and safety protocols.
- Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, parts procurement, and contractor coordination to ensure timely and quality completion.
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls and maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Proven expertise as a Master Plumber with comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plumbing and related facility equipment.
- Skilled in diagnosing complex plumbing issues using blueprints, manuals, and technical resources.
- Experience leading and mentoring plumbing and maintenance teams, providing technical guidance and training.
- Strong organizational skills to manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractor coordination.
- Proficient in ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local safety standards.
- Capability to respond promptly to emergency calls and prioritize business-critical needs effectively.
Qualifications
- 5 years’ experience in the plumbing trade (Master-level experience preferred).
- Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
- Licensed Master Plumber or equivalent in good standing in the state of work.
- License in related trade in city and/or state of work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical trade program.
- Experience using intermediate-level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $35.00 - $70.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
