Day in the Life of a Massage Therapist on our Hospice Team
You will have the opportunity to directly and positively impact the health and wellbeing of the people you serve through the provision of professional nursing services. Use therapeutic touch to reduce pain, ease tension, and promote relaxation. Support comfort and mobility with gentle, adaptive techniques tailored to each patient’s condition. Create moments of calm for individuals — and often for their loved ones as well. Observe subtle changes and collaborate with the hospice team to ensure comfort-focused care. Honor each person’s dignity, autonomy, and personal preferences. Offer presence that speaks louder than words — a steady hand, a quiet room, a moment of peace.
