Massage Therapist - Hospice

About the role

As a Home Health Aide at Amedisys, you will provide compassionate care to patients in their homes, assisting with daily activities and medication management.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene and grooming
• Help patients with mobility and transfers
• Monitor and record patient vital signs
• Prepare and serve meals to patients
• Administer prescribed medications under supervision
• Ensure patient safety and comfort
• Communicate with family members and healthcare providers about patient needs and progress

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong communication skills
• Passionate about providing compassionate care

Qualifications

• Experience in home health care or related field preferred
• Previous experience with elderly or disabled individuals
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
