Maryville LPN IV Certified Clinic - Specialty Care

Duties

• Greets and prepares patient for provider examination and treatment.
• Performs general nursing care to patients.
• Affirms prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
• Aids provider with procedures and properly maintains equipment before and after procedures.
• Engages in patient/family teaching to achieve the desired patient outcome.
• Maintains the scheduling of patients, answers patient inquiries, and maintains timely flow of patients.
• Observes, records, and reports patient’s condition to provider.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program, or military equivalent.
• LPNIV - LPN IV Cert in the state of Missouri or Kansas, depending upon designated work location.
• If new grad, LPN must be obtained within 90 days post-graduation.
• IV Certification upon hire or within one year.
• Clinical\BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days.
• Valid driver's license is required if operating a motor vehicle for business purposes.
