About the role
The Marketing Proposal Specialist III is a full-time, on-site role based in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale Area. This role is responsible for leading the development, writing, and production of proposal and qualifications packages for engineering projects, including RFQs, RFPs, and SOQs for public agencies and private clients. The specialist coordinates with project managers, technical staff, and leadership to gather content, refine win themes, ensure compliance with solicitation requirements, and maintain consistency with brand standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, writing, and production of proposal and qualifications packages (RFQs, RFPs, SOQs) for engineering projects
- Coordinate with project managers, technical staff, and leadership to gather content and refine win themes
- Ensure compliance with solicitation requirements and maintain consistency with brand standards
- Draft and edit marketing materials
- Maintain proposal content libraries, update resumes and project sheets
- Support presentations and interview preparation
- Track opportunities and support CRM or business development databases
- Contribute to continuous improvement of proposal processes and templates
Qualifications
- Strong proposal and marketing writing skills, including experience drafting and editing technical content, executive summaries, and project narratives
- Experience in proposal coordination and production, including organizing schedules, managing deadlines, and ensuring compliance with RFP/RFQ requirements
- Proficiency with document design and layout tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, PDF tools; familiarity with Adobe InDesign or similar software is beneficial)
- Knowledge of A/E/C (architecture, engineering, construction) or professional services marketing, preferably with exposure to transportation or civil infrastructure projects
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with technical staff and leadership to develop clear, compelling content
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management, with the ability to handle multiple concurrent deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience in proposal development may be considered
