Responsibilities
- Place and maintain internal advertising displays.
- Write rules and regulations for promotions and events, and submit for approval.
- Execute promotions and events on property or off-site.
- Input offers within applicable systems for promotional drawings and giveaways.
- Assist with audio visual (AV) duties as needed.
- Process purchase orders and check requests for the Marketing Department.
- Auxiliary in the creation of social media and video content as assigned.
- Coordinate and track groups for special and VIP party events.
- Support photo and video content for timely posting on organic social media sites.
- Attend property events and activities as assigned.
- Maintain and update website content in collaboration with Corporate Marketing.
- Provide internal support related to special events, promotions, or entertainment.
- Support superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and report potential issues to management.
Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age.
- Associate degree (A.A.) in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience in hospitality industry and resort setting preferred.
- Technical proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Demonstrated ability to drive toward results.
- Strong client interface and presentation skills preferred.
- Ability to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends, as business needs dictate.
