About the role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to build valuable relationships with a wide variety of supplier partners and Applied Industrial Technologies corporate departments. The Marketing Specialist will work in a support role for the Catalog/Digital Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities
- Understanding of social media and use of Hubspot
- Create and maintain social calendar
- Support the development, implementation, and tracking of marketing programs/projects
- Create and deploy 5-7 emails per month in support of Omni-Channel marketing
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. product management and sales) to adhere to deadlines
- Communicate and work with external vendors to execute marketing initiatives
- Assist with daily administrative tasks to ensure departmental functionality and coordination
- Support catalog team members with edits, review, vendor follow-up, etc.
- Design/layout of Omni-Channel sell sheets, supplements etc.
- Assist in PIM needs as necessary
Skills
- Proven experience in a marketing role
- Works well in a team environment but also autonomously
- Proficient in use of MS Office
- Previous graphic design experience
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
- Strong communication and people skills
- High School diploma; Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or relevant field is a strong advantage

- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a marketing related role
- A team player who is comfortable performing and managing a versatile workload
- Organized and able to prioritize work and tasks
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Investigative and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting and working with c-level executives
- Openness to learn and adapt to new technologies
