Marketing/Social Media Associate

About the role

Reid’s is the Carolinas’ leading specialty food store and a favorite culinary destination, specializing in superior meats, wines, regional provisions, locally grown produce, seasonally fresh meals, and gift baskets for our loyal customer base. We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Marketing/Social Media Associate to join our corporate team and help bring Reid’s story to life across social media and marketing channels.

Responsibilities

• Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
• Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns and seasonal promotions
• Monitor social channels and engage with followers by responding to comments and messages in a timely, on-brand manner
• Capture photo and video content at store locations for use across social media and marketing materials
• Assist with email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and website content updates
• Track social media performance and analytics, providing regular reports and recommendations
• Coordinate with store teams to promote in-store events, new products, and seasonal offerings
• Support planning and promotion of community events, tastings, and partnerships
• Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
• 1–2 years of social media or marketing experience preferred
• Strong writing, editing, and visual/design skills
• Experience with social media platforms and scheduling/content tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Canva)
• Photography and/or videography skills a plus
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
• Creative thinker with a genuine interest in food, hospitality, and community
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
