About the role
The position involves planning, implementing, and coordinating services and programs across three counties of the Southwest Georgia Regional Library System.
Responsibilities
- Plans and coordinates comprehensive public relations outreach program
- Oversight of website management
- Aids in collection development and statistics for the library system
- Manages public service in Decatur County
Qualifications
- Masters in Library Science from an ALA-Accredited program
- Working knowledge of website management, computer programs
- Background in civic involvement, online search skills, youth and children’s work
- Valid driver’s license
Requirements
- Ability to obtain a Grade 5B certification or higher from the Georgia Certification State Board of Certification of Librarians
