About The Role
The Marketing Platform Specialist, internally known as the eCommerce Manager - Salesforce Commerce Cloud, is a results-driven professional responsible for managing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns, automations, and eCommerce site functionalities. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in SaaS platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Account Engagement (formerly Pardot), and Salesforce CRM. The successful candidate will lead initiatives to build engaging digital campaigns, automate customer journeys, and enhance website features to improve user experience and conversions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Management, IT, and Commercial teams is essential to ensure alignment with business goals. The role also involves managing the day-to-day presentation of products, images, and descriptions within Salesforce Commerce Cloud, ensuring the website remains current, engaging, and aligned with marketing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Build, launch, and optimize digital marketing campaigns utilizing Account Engagement and Salesforce CRM data to target and nurture customers effectively.
- Develop and manage campaign automations to support the entire buyer journey, from initial interest to conversion.
- Collaborate with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager on strategic planning and execution of marketing initiatives.
- Maintain and update product listings, images, descriptions, and onsite content within Salesforce Commerce Cloud to reflect current product offerings and marketing priorities.
- Implement ongoing site updates based on product launches, seasonal promotions, and marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate with marketing and paid media teams to integrate SEO, SEM, and social media campaigns for maximum digital engagement and sales.
- Monitor customer feedback and site analytics to identify opportunities for enhancing the shopping experience.
- Track key performance metrics such as traffic, engagement, and conversion rates; generate reports to inform continuous improvement strategies.
- Serve as the primary regional point-of-contact for eCommerce-related activities, supporting cross-functional teams including IT, marketing, and product management.
- Identify and implement process improvements, automations, and innovative solutions to optimize workflows and campaign effectiveness.
- Stay current on industry trends, Salesforce platform updates, and emerging digital marketing technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Account Engagement (Pardot).
- Proven ability to manage digital campaigns, automations, and eCommerce websites effectively.
- Experience executing digital marketing strategies to generate leads, revenue, and customer engagement.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing and eCommerce data.
- Excellent project management skills, capable of handling multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience with digital marketing technologies including SEO, SEM, social media, and mobile marketing.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and SAP systems is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10% as required.
