The Marketing Operations Specialist, D2C Lifecycle at Ibotta is responsible for executing personalized marketing communications through Braze and Litmus, including email, push notifications, and in-app messaging. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Support Marketing Operations in building and executing D2C Marketing initiatives via Braze and internal tools
  2. Optimize user activation and retention
  3. Code in-app messages and emails using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  4. Ensure quality and accuracy of lifecycle programs across channels: email, push, in-app message, and cash back reward content
  5. Be a liaison between Marketing and Product/Engineering on technical requests and help manage those requests to improve Marketing programs/software
  6. Anticipate issues and provide alternative methods of setup or delivery for campaign deployment
  7. Work with others on the Marketing Operations team to analyze, detect, and help solve technical problems
  8. Identify opportunities to implement standardized processes that improve project performance
  9. Regularly learn about new features and capabilities within our tools, crafting use cases and best practices related to new revenue opportunities and OpEx savings
  10. Help onboard new tools/programs for the Marketing department
  11. Own and maintain technical documentation to support all campaign development processes and channels

About the Role

This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid role requiring 3 days in-office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States. Relocation assistance is available for candidates not based in Denver.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 2 - 4 years of experience or technical background
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Technology
  • Strong background with Braze or similar CRM or marketing automation platforms
  • Ability to think creatively and solve complex problems across multiple platforms
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering and/or Product teams
  • Strong copy-editing skills
  • Self-directed and self-motivated with superior time management skills
  • Experience with the following tools or related tools preferred: Braze, Litmus, Jira/Confluence, Figma, Brandfolder, G-Suite, Looker, Trello

Qualifications

  • Self-taught or professional experience with coding languages: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Ability to match Marketing’s business requirements with internal product capabilities

Pay

Base compensation range: $70,000 - $80,000. Equity is included in overall compensation package.
