Marketing Operations Associate

About the Role

We are looking for a strong communicator who is organized, tech-savvy, and has strong project management skills to work on our Marketing Operations & Technology team. This is a highly collaborative and extremely detail-oriented role focused on project management and traffic coordination for marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Intake, organize, prep, and assign Salesforce Marketing Cloud design and deployment requests.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and connection points.
• Establish and nurture a collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Help evolve our processes with an eye toward optimization, collaboration, and efficiency.
• Keep teammates and business partners aligned with clear, ongoing communication and timeline management.
• Uphold project management collaboration tool standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in marketing, communications, advertising, or related field.
• 2+ years of proven work experience as a traffic coordinator, marketing analyst, or marketing coordinator.
• Proven experience managing projects in matrixed organizations.
• Must be able to juggle multiple projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
• Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills.
• Strong customer service skills as well as the ability to connect and interact with a wide variety of people.
• Ability to present ideas, negotiate, and solve problems.
• Great listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using Confluence and Microsoft Teams, or similar tools.
• Experience using workflow management software, such as Wrike, JIRA, or other systems.

Pay

Salary ranges reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Actual compensation will be based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements, and/or skill level.

Salary Range: $58,900 - $70,000 / year

Schedule

This role benefits from a hybrid work arrangement with 3 days a week in the office at Principal World Headquarters in Des Moines, IA.
