About the role

The Marketing Operations Assistant Manager supports the planning and execution of the marketing strategy at the store level, including events, education, community relations, and graphics. This role reports directly to the Area Marketing Operations Manager and functionally to the Director of Store Operations, while managing the in-store Events team.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Area Marketing Operations Manager and Store Director to execute a comprehensive marketing strategy designed to drive awareness, traffic, and sales.
  • Support the execution of local marketing initiatives and events in alignment with the store’s overall marketing strategy.
  • Coordinate communication between Corporate Marketing, Store Leadership, and local partners to ensure smooth implementation of national and local marketing programs.
  • Maintain in-store visual and communication standards, ensuring all materials adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Coordinate production and installation of in-store signage, graphics, and event materials as needed.
  • Contribute to social media efforts by capturing and submitting in-store content for approval and publication.
  • Assist in planning and logistics for in-store and off-site events, including public and private activations, in partnership with the Events and Store teams.
  • Support relationships with local organizations, business partners, and community groups to strengthen brand presence.
  • Track and report on marketing activities and event performance metrics as directed by the Marketing Operations Manager.
  • Monitor marketing expenses to ensure adherence to defined budgets.
  • Perform other administrative and marketing-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, with prior managerial experience.
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of Italian cuisine and culture preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and business management skills.
  • Knowledge of and contacts in the food industry.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule, often including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
