Marketing Manager (B2B)
About the Role
Ficoso is a leading nationwide provider of due diligence and risk management solutions for financial and legal markets. Through our portal and expert services, we help our clients navigate complex compliance requirements and streamline their risk management. The Marketing Manager has a highly impactful individual contributor role on a lean and collaborative Product & Marketing team. They own and execute marketing programs for our core B2B product, the Ficoso due diligence and risk management portal. The Marketing Manager shapes our digital presence and leads both inbound and outbound integrated marketing initiatives to build brand awareness, thought leadership, and to generate demand, engagement, and conversion. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing strategy as well as rolling up their sleeves to execute campaigns, create content, lead go-to-market motions, analyze performance metrics, optimize marketing systems, and support sales success.
This position is a remote west coast role, or hybrid 1–2 times per month in our Sacramento, California office. The role reports to the Vice President of Product and Marketing.
Digital Marketing & Demand Generation
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, qualified pipeline, and revenue growth.
- Own website strategy and performance, continuously optimizing visitor experience, conversion paths, landing pages, and on-page content and elements.
- Drive organic growth by continuously fine-tuning our SEO and AEO to improve discoverability, strengthen search rankings, and increase qualified organic traffic.
- Manage our LinkedIn presence: content, engagement, and thought leadership.
- Optimize paid marketing strategy: paid search, paid social, advertising, and sponsorships.
Content & Campaign Development
- Drive content marketing activities: create, curate, and repurpose content that speaks to different audience segments throughout the buyer's journey and across multiple channels.
- Develop and deliver engaging, educational and customer-centric content, such as videos and web-based events, to boost thought leadership and share customer success stories.
- Work with industry organizations, partners and other stakeholders to create joint marketing initiatives that elevate our presence in the broader ecosystem.
- Partner with Product Management on Go-to-Market (GTM) initiatives translating technical capabilities into compelling value propositions, customer communications, and launch campaigns.
- Collaborate with Sales to build account-based marketing (ABM) strategies and sales enablement assets, such as warm-up campaigns, one-pagers, presentations, battlecards, and case studies.
Marketing Operations & Analytics
- Design dashboards and reporting that provides visibility into pipeline contribution, funnel performance, conversion, and return on investment (ROI).
- Continuously measure, analyze, A/B test and improve on website and campaign performance.
- Own marketing automation: demand capture, account scoring, workflow optimization, and customized nurture sequences.
Other Marketing Activities
- Plan and manage annual trade show strategy — from logistics and exhibitor arrangements to all marketing assets (banners, collateral, giveaways).
- Support customer retention and customer engagement initiatives.
- Participate in Voice of the Customer programs, including surveys and interviews.
Required Experience
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in SaaS, financial services and/or compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in business-related field, or equivalent experience/certificates. MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of spearheading multi-channel launch and/or demand generation campaigns.
- Deep expertise in creating engaging digital experiences, optimizing discoverability and crafting innovative strategies to promote awareness, thought leadership, engagement, and conversion.

- Highly proficient leveraging and optimizing a broad MarTech stack and AI-powered capabilities across content management systems (CMS), marketing automation, analytics, Search and Answer Engine Optimization (SEO/AOE), image and video editing software, and event & social platforms.
- Accomplished content strategist who can transform technical details into engaging content.
- Competent in leveraging AI throughout various marketing and creative activities.
- Curious about customer needs and product solutions in the financial and compliance space.
- Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies.
- Self-starter with ability to take ownership of goals and proactively ideate and drive projects forward.
- Highly capable in prioritizing, leading, measuring and optimizing multiple simultaneous initiatives.
- Empathetic collaborator who skillfully creates cross-group alignment and engagement.
- Outstanding verbal, written and visual communicator.
- Experience working with marketing agencies, contractors, associations, and integration partners.
- Thriving in a flexible remote work environment and able to collaborate mainly on PST time zone.
- Willing to travel about 5-10% to our office in Sacramento, CA, and for conferences & team meetings.
