About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Specialist to join our team and support our mission of transforming education through innovative marketing initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing plans that align with Cengage’s organizational goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of marketing campaigns, analyze market trends to identify strategic opportunities, and implement innovative marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement. Your role will also involve supporting internal and external communications via various digital platforms, ensuring consistent messaging and brand integrity. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and possess a passion for digital education, with experience in both B2B and B2C marketing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
• Multiple years of experience in marketing roles, preferably within education technology or digital learning
• Proficiency in market analysis and strategy development
• Experience with eCommerce and online customer acquisition strategies
• Knowledge of government education funding mechanisms
• Proficiency with Salesforce Pardot, Amplitude, Google Analytics, WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, and email service platforms
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Self-motivated with a responsive approach to work
• Experience delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns
• Knowledge of AI tools supporting marketing functions
• Channel and product marketing experience is preferred

• Manage and optimize marketing campaigns using automation tools and analytics platforms
• Lead projects involving multiple stakeholders, ensuring timely and successful delivery
• Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and adjust strategies accordingly
• Utilize AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance marketing effectiveness
• Support efforts in product positioning, channel marketing, and customer acquisition initiatives
