About the Role

We're seeking a creative, enthusiastic Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist to join Tricia Melnichak - State Farm Agent in York, PA 17408. This role is perfect for someone passionate about social media marketing, community engagement, and building a strong online presence for a local brand.

Responsibilities

• Facebook & Instagram Management: Create, schedule, and manage engaging content to build awareness, strengthen relationships, and support agency growth.
• Content Creation: Develop eye-catching graphics, photos, Reels, short videos, captions, and promotional content that reflects our agency's personality and brand.
• Content Calendar: Plan and maintain a consistent posting schedule featuring insurance education, community involvement, team highlights, seasonal topics, and agency promotions.
• Community Engagement: Grow our online audience by responding to comments, encouraging interaction, and building relationships with followers.
• Digital Advertising: Assist with Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns, including audience targeting, creative development, and performance tracking (subject to guidelines).
• Brand Awareness: Showcase our team, celebrate customers, promote local events, and strengthen our community presence.
• Marketing Performance: Monitor engagement, reach, follower growth, inquiries, and campaign results. Provide insights for improvement.
• Lead Generation: Develop strategies to encourage prospective customers to contact our office for insurance quotes and coverage reviews.
• Team Collaboration: Work with the agent and team to capture photos, develop marketing ideas, and highlight our culture and customer service.
• Brand Compliance: Ensure all content and advertising follow State Farm brand, social media, and advertising guidelines, including required approvals.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Facebook and Instagram accounts for a business, organization, or brand preferred.
• Strong creative writing skills for engaging social media captions.
• Experience with Canva or similar graphic design platforms.
• Comfortable creating and editing photos, Reels, and short-form videos.
• Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Facebook Ads Manager, or scheduling tools is a plus.
• Understanding of social media engagement, audience growth, and digital marketing strategies.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and produce quality content.
• Positive, outgoing personality with a genuine interest in community involvement.
• Willingness to learn insurance industry marketing requirements and State Farm brand standards.
• Must be able to obtain applicable state insurance licenses if required.
