About the role

As a Summer 2027 US Farm Animal Marketing Intern, you will join the Farm Animal Commercial team to deliver a highly impactful business project that elevates the US Farm Animal Commercial organization.

Responsibilities

  • Define, execute, and deliver an assigned marketing project, partnering with cross-functional teams to gather insights, evaluate opportunities, and develop recommendations.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and customers to understand business needs, market dynamics, and customer perspectives relevant to your project.
  • Apply data, research, and business insights to support marketing strategies and identify opportunities within your assigned area.
  • Track project progress and outcomes, refining your approach based on findings and feedback throughout the internship.
  • Present project findings, recommendations, and potential business impact to US Farm Animal leadership.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in undergraduate studies in Animal Science, Agribusiness, Agriculture Education, or related fields.
  • Experience with farm animal health, livestock, or the agriculture industry.

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively by phone, in person, and through presentations.
  • Highly motivated and self-driven, with a strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and leadership.
  • Strong interest and enthusiasm for agriculture.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work exceptionally well independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to make decisions within the context of uncertainty and ambiguity.
  • Customer-focused mindset.

Additional Information

Regular travel is required for customer visits via car. This is a field-based role with various locations throughout the United States.

  • Internship Dates: May 17th – August 6th, 2027
  • Pay: Competitive salary of $20-$40/hour, dependent upon major and year in school.
